Brilliant, and yet I could not help but notice so many empty seats in the audience. And, how many middle eastern countries will dismiss her words because she is a female? That being said, if her words can be spread by the mass media, if she perseveres, and others join hers and others like causes, some small changes might occur. But sigh, is it too little, too late?
Maybe, Trudi, but as Margaret Mead (1901 – 1978) said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
The energy of youth is a great thing, too. And women are the ones who will make the changes. The men have messed up for too long.
