Terry’s last comment was what I’ve been thinking from the first reading of this guy’s “name”.

Guess he didn’t read the “fine print” part of this blog. Look at the Pages section up on the left.

Speaking of SEA - a good while ago there was a man who came to talk to them about the land that he had just bought here on St. Croix - his accent indicated a New Jersey backgound. I wonder if this is who is really behind this project, fitting in with Wreggie’s comment.

Now, we enjoy enlightened conversation with intelligent people almost as much as ridiculing idiots, but you’ve presented no evidence of intelligence. To be sure, you’ve benefited from schooling. richy, you still don’t get it, do you. You came here insulting us in your first comment (on this post, under the name Richard Heed anyway). Your comment had no substance, it was just an attack on us. Basically, you said to us “You’re wasting your time, you’re stupid and ill-bred.” You made some assumption about us appointing ourselves something and told us to grow up. Then you tried to dictate to us ways in which we couldn’t respond, then told us to get over it, get out and called us miscreants.

That’s all in your very first comment (allegedly), with no introduction, no actual talking points. Nothing of substance. In cyber-space, that’s called a “flame”. There are two ways to respond to flamers, ignore them or ridicule them. Well, three ways actually, we could just delete the comment and ban your IP, preventing further flames.

But we chose to ridicule, since the essence of the post was a tongue in cheek pot shot at the Golden idiocy to begin with. Its a win win situation, you get the attention you crave as a flamer, and we can amuse ourselves. We’re having great fun, are you?

Childish but what can you expect from someone with a sub par education and the mentality of a child. It appears that I am to penalized for my views, but it is also quite obvious that you have become quite upset at my views so have decided to retaliate in the only way you know how, as a child\bully would on the school playground.

I have copied all of my responses and submitted them to the parties on St. Croix that really have an impact on the community along with your childish revisions. I was told not to expect less from you, your blog and your cronies.

Come on Wricky. You come to our blog, insult us, patronize us, lecture us about what we can and can’t do or say. You call into question our education and upbringing, then expect us to respond respectfully? Don’t be ridiculous! If you’re going to make idiotic comments, we’re going to treat them as such.

We have had many serious discussions of the merits (or demerits) of the Golden and other projects. But you can only have a serious discussion when there is some substance presented. If you want a serious debate on the future of development on St. Croix, or the Golden project, present an argument on the merits, with some substance to back up your claims. But spare me any more of that drivel about jobs and airlift.

BTW, what went on here wasn’t typical of censorship, none of the content of the comments was changed, Terry is just practicing for an editing job at the “Abyss”
