There’s been a lot going on that I will be reporting in the next couple of days…..the meeting at the Legion Post last week, the CZM workshop we attended today, Percy’s chemo, household project priority upgrades, more restaurant reviews, etc. But for now, this is an easy post:

Terry- first I hope Percy comes through with the pluckiness that dogs are known to have.
Second- don’t you wish we had government instead of politics?
When did one become the substitute for the other….yechhh!!

Unfortunately, it’s not just politics, but commerce as well. That’s why we buy and eat and use a lot of stuff that’s not good for us or for the planet.
Short attention spans, a lack of critical thinking, and a culture of self-interested individualism help make us easy targets for the vacuous messages from the political and corporate elite. Did someone say lemmings?

Thanks, Bonnie. Lumpy boy is a little gimpy since the biopsy sample was taken from his leg. But his lumps have already started going down.
Unfortunately, politics or “politricks” have been around for a lot longer than you or I have…But we can still dream our idealistic dreams. And make sure we study hard before we go to the polls in November.
Well said, Don. The lemming mentality makes me ill. I alternate between anger and sadness, hovering at minor depression when I think about the future of our planet and our children.
